Our Instruments
Play It For Good is a registered 501(c)(3) foundation and NJ Non-Profit Corporation that places donated instruments in the hands of worthy musicians who may not have the means to access such instruments. We accept donations of gently-used orchestral instruments, work with people to have them refurbished, and get them to into good hands. Thank you for your interest in donating your instrument. Since we are a registered 501(c)(3) organization, you will receive a tax deduction for the market value of your donated instrument. We accept gently-used orchestral instruments and will work with the appropriate channels to refurbish your instrument. Please be assured that your donated instrument will land in the hands of worthy musicians/music programs who may not have the means to access such instruments.
To donate, please contact us for mailing instructions. Please include your name, and information about your instrument -- that we can contact you and provide you with the necessary documentation for tax deductions.
We always like to know the history of the instrument and how you decided to donate it to us. If you like, please include that information.
We are excited to place our gently-used orchestral instruments into the hands of worthy musicians/music programs. Our instruments come from "Donors" (see left) and have been refurbished.
